Vidicon Camera Tube

Image
A "V idicon Camera Tube"  or " Pick up Tube"  was used as a replacement of  CCD's (Charged coupled device) for converting an optical image into an electrical signal. It has an ability to store intensity information over the entire photosensitive area simultaneously on photoconductive surface. Diagram of a image dessector Parts of the Vidicon Camera Tube Cathode ray tube: It is a vacuum tube through which the beam of electrons are focused. Electrons are nothing but cathode rays. Photoconductive Target: It is a thin layer deposited on a transperent metal film. The target which is placed on the inner surface of the faceplate consists of three layers: 1) The transperent target electrode deposited directly onto the faceplate. 2) A dielectric layer. 3) A photoelectric layer facing on the electron gun that is located toward the back of the camera tube.

What is an Image?

Image may be defined as 2-dimensional intensity function f(x,y) where x,y are the spatial coordinates. For telugu people: Intensity:   తీవ్రత, శక్తీ x,y అనే ఈ coordinates కి రేంజ్ మనం తీసుకున్న ఇమేజ్ బట్టి వుంటుంది. ఉదాహరణకి మనం కానీ 160 x 160 రిసోల్యుషన్ తో వున్నా బొమ్మని కానీ తీసుకుంటే అప్పుడు x, y రేంజ్ 160 మరియు 160 గా వుంటుంది.

What is a Vector Image? Explain

If you work on a computer aided drafting program such as Auto Cad or Micro station, then you are working with vector files. Vector files have intelligent data and entities. You can pick up an arc and move it to another part of the drawing. You can change the font style of the text according to our need. Each point on the drawing has a computer coordinate of X and Y for 2D and for 3D adds Z coordinate. These X,Y,Z are vectors. Typical vector file formats include dwg, dxf, iges, and dgn.
