What is Intensity?

Intensity is nothing but the brightness level at any point (x,y) in an image f(x,y).


For telugu:  

తీవ్రత లేదా  ఇన్టేన్సటీ  అనేది ఒక ఇమేజ్ f(x,y) మీది, ఒక చుక్క లేక point (x,y) యొక్క కాంతి యొక్క లెవెల్ ని బట్టి ఆధారపడివుంటుంది.

            A "V idicon Camera Tube"  or " Pick up Tube"  was used as a replacement of  CCD's (Charged coupled device) for converting an optical image into an electrical signal. It has an ability to store intensity information over the entire photosensitive area simultaneously on photoconductive surface. Photoconductive Target: It is a thin layer deposited on a transperent metal film.
